I inhale new life, and exhale the old. Each breath may bring renewal, if the mind and body allows. I know this, yet it does not always happen. Sometimes breathing feels like a matter of surviving.
Sometimes it means nothing at all.

Self-Cleansing Ritual. Glazed Stoneware, 2024 / 4 x 7 x 7 inches
Rituals have become so important to me, that I am dependent on it.
It has been my coping mechanism. Lighting an incense would cleanse unwanted energies. Sometimes I feel like it doesn’t work, but I do it anyway. The more frequent I do it, the more my mind believes, and my body accepts.
I am centered, I am balanced. Stoneware, Ceramic stains, Wires & Beads, 2024/ 10 X 5”
I choose progress over perfection. Stoneware, Ceramic stains & Wires, 2024/ 13 x 4”
