Expressing my deep appreciation for the abundance our land generously provides. A bounty of diverse produce rich in nutrients and benefits — ang halaman dito ay sari-sari. From the lush greenery to the sweet and tangy fruits, our surroundings offer a symphony of flavors and textures.

Embracing humble dishes that showcase easily grown vegetables, we savor natural, healthy broths.

Within their intricate interplay of colors, we’ll find both beauty and sustenance, as nature’s vibrant palette nourishes, protects, and restores.

About the Artist

Indya Gokita (Philippines, B. 1994) is a contemporary artist based in the Philippines.

She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the College of Fine Arts, University of the Philippines, Diliman. Her first solo show was held in West Gallery, Quezon City in 2021. In her practice, she seeks to record her introspections about the representative structures that make up the world with its enchanted loom of stories and interrelated pathways. Indya frequently employs recurring motifs, shapes, and radiant color in her drawings, prints, and embroidered pieces. Through these objects, she aims to capture playful depictions of the shifting harmonies within the patterns of nature, weaving and dissolving as they traverse space and time.
